Voice Over Workshop

Have you ever wondered how Voice-Over artists become the sounds behind corporate advertisements on television, movies, videos games, and all over the Internet? I know I have! Join us for a Voice-Over Seminar Sunday, February 22th kids (ages 7-17) 5-6pm and teens/adults 6:30pm-7:30pm.

Marc Cashman is a Clio-winning Radio and TV commercial producer, casting director, copywriter and voice actor, is one of the few voice-over instructors in the U.S. on both sides of the glass. Voted one of the Best Voices of the Year twice by Audio File Magazine, he has over 30 years of studio experience and over 100 audiobooks to his credit, and has been heard on Radio, TV, film, documentaries, animated series and video games. As a producer, he’s won over 150 local, regional, national and international advertising awards on behalf of hundreds of ad agencies and clients across the country.

Acting Workshop With Tracey Gold

We believe at VIBE that any age actors/actresses should be taught by instructors with positive experience in the film/television/stage industry. For this reason, we are so happy to announce that on Friday, February 27th (changed from Saturday February 28th because she booked an acting job!) actress Tracey Gold  with be instructing an acting workshop at VIBE.
Appearing in such things as television series “Roots” and series “Walt Disney’s World of Color”, Tracey is most known for her role in the television series “Growing Pains” where she played Carol Seaver. “Growing Pains” had a long successful run of eight years. Growing up on television in front of America, Tracey has nothing but positive stories about her time in television and film in her childhood and present life.
Want the chance to learn from a pro? In Tracey Gold’s Workshop, she will be teaching all ages how to audition with ease, give them helpful tips for being in the business, how to use script techniques and how you can get a Casting Director’s attention.

Frozen Sing Along

Are you not ready to ‘Let It Go’ or ‘Do You Wanna Build a Snowman’? At VIBE, we can’t get enough of Frozen! On Saturday, February 21th 3pm-4pm, VIBE will be having a “Frozen Sing Along”! Ages 3-12 are welcome to sing along to their favorite Frozen songs and even dress up as their favorite character. A cookie and lemonade is complimentary from the VIBE Café with admission. Karaoke Coaching

Do you love to sing karaoke? Come sing your favorite tunes on the VIBE stage! Instructor Andrea Vibe will be available to offer coaching on proper mic and vocal techniques as well as stage presence to anyone wanting to take their “Karaoke Game” to the next level. Saturday February 21st the Kids/Teens karaoke will be held 4:30-6pm and the Teens/Adults karaoke will be 6-7:30pm. $10 for unlimited coaching and unlimited fun!        Kid Master Magician     

VIBE is bringing MAGIC into everyone’s life. Learn how to become Master Magicians with amazing tricks that will fool their friends and family, including great tricks such as making things appear and disappear. The Magic Kit used in the class includes a magic wand and passes to the MAGIC CASTLE! This class will be lead by Magic Castle Master Magician Doug Hoover. Join Professor Doug and embrace the magic this winter with VIBE’s Master Magicians class.

   Musical Theater Production

      

Discover the magic of the theatre as you sing, act, dance and perform! Explore the adventure of being a part of a musical production with instructor Jessica Stone.

Winter Camp Fun

Heat up the hot coco and break out sweaters because Winter is here! During Winter Break, VIBE will be hosting two amazing Day Camps for boys and girls, ages 7-16 including Acting Camp with Susan Olsen and Video Star Camp with Liz Watts. Both of these camps run from January 5th to the 9th and cost $299.

Acting Camp with Susan Olsen (Cindy Brady, Gunsmoke & more) is where students will learn to write a script, film and act to create a mini-video! This mini-video will be posted on YOUTUBE.

Video Star Camp is led by professional dancer, singer and actor Liz Watts (dancer in Beyonce, Destiny’s Child, & Black-Eyed Peas videos)! In this camp the students will learn to record vocals, cool moves & add special effects. At the end of the camp the final product of the music video posted on YOUTUBE.

Holiday Caroling & Entertainment 2014

It’s time for decorating the hearth with evergreens and pulling out favorite recipes for a delicious holiday feast! Friends and families gather, ready to celebrate. Shopping centers bustle with customers hurrying to get just the right gift for their special someone. And through it all, the sweet sounds of the season waft on the air, bringing joy to all who hear, borne by four crystal clear voices belonging to the Santa Clarita Carolers.
With a repertoire that varies from traditional Christmas carols to songs like “The 12 Days after Christmas” and “Leroy the Redneck Reindeer” the Santa Clarita Carolers are sure to be a hit at this year’s holiday parties. Dressed in Dickensian costumes, each group includes a soprano, alto, tenor and baritone singing a cappella, blending their voices for unforgettable harmonies. Guests can’t help but notice the singers as they set a festive tone for any party or gathering, just as they provide the perfect accompaniment to a holiday reunion or business event.
They have become regular features of seasonal entertainment or many local corporate clients, organizations, and private parties. By popular demand, two quartets are available for parties and gatherings, ready to spread joy and cheer in song at your home or place of business. Book early, as these performers have a limited number of engagements and you wouldn’t want to miss out.
The Santa Clarita Carolers are available to perform as strolling musicians and greeters or in a spotlight show that features traditional and modern carols, and some novelty numbers that spark the holiday spirit in audiences of all ages. 2014 Kid Expo

It’s that time again, the Child & Family Center’s 11th annual Kid Expo. The expo will be held on Sunday October 12th at 11am till 4pm at Golden Valley High School. VIBE is excited to announce that we will be among the 120 booths/attractions put on by local businesses. Not only will VIBE have a booth where our staff and instructors will be handing out prizes, coupons for private and group lessons but some students from VIBE will also be performing at the expo.
